In July of 2001 Nancy was interviewed by Mr. Brad Goins of the Lake Charles, Louisiana news magazine "Lagniappe" for an article entitled 'It's All About Choices' The following in a small excerpt from that interview.

"It's all about choices. For too many years we've felt backed into a corner. We gave up responsibility for our own health to other people. If I had a need I could not take care of myself I would not hesitate to go to a doctor. But, I'd insist on being part of the decisions about what was going to be done with my health. Not everyone wants that responsibility. But some do. And they are frustrated." ............"In proposing a remedy to the situation Sonnier sees education and communication as avenues to the empowering of patients. Patients feel that they have no control over their situation. That's not true. When people get together and share information there is power in that."

In the Beaumont Enterprise, a newspaper in the city of Beaumont, Texas, Nancy was quoted in an article entitled Control Your World. This was a feature piece on the food page written by reporter Andrea Wright. This article focused on the advantages of taking a healthful lunch to work as opposed to having the usual restaurant or fast food meal. Nancy was asked her thoughts on the subject and she was happy to share the importance of being in control of your own nutritional health. Salads with organic ingredients and natural ingredient dressings are her choice for noon day meals.
Nancy takes every opportunity to get the message out. "Choices are available if we just access the right information!"
